There might be countless types of things that may have been snatched away from us by someone – your money which was made by working hard, your properties, your job credits, promotion’s, partner’s love and affection, friends, reputation, dreams, your thunder, springtime of your life and so much more.
Sometimes, the rewards we have worked so hard for are robbed accidentally or intentionally, or worse, some have been taken away from us with force or nasty and deceitful methods.
I know how painful, frustrating and unforgettable it is. There are even times we tend to blame our own stupidities, until you realize you’re now caught in a spiral of regret, and whatever you do, you can no longer change the past.
The worst thing to do in such a situation is to be fixated on what was lost. To curse a person and hope for their demise will only take up negative space in your mind.
We have to learn to move on from the memories that cause us hurt and pain. Cursing somebody will only keep the pain alive within ourselves. What’s done is done, and no matter how much you think about it, you can no longer undo those things. There is not a single magic trick or a rewind button.
The best thing to do is to let go of it. Let go of the things that used to be yours. Don’t overexert yourself in taking back what’s already lost, as you may lose far more important things in the process.
Remember what you have and what you have achieved and what you still want to achieve. Make your life happier or more worthwhile than before. This is the sweetest way to get revenge on those who wanted you to fail.
